A couple weekends ago, we were able to join Ken on one of his business trips to San Francisco! It was so much fun, and very much needed! I debated on whether we should take Kyle on our vacation (I was afraid it wouldn't be much of one!), but we took him with us and he was SO good! He was so excited to fly on a plane, and we were even able to sit in upgraded seats (1st row) so we had more room for him to move around in! That is one benefit of traveling with children...the airlines are really good to you! He did very well, and he even had the flight attendants and other passengers cracking up. He is such a little social bug, and while nobody could understand what he was saying, they listened intently anyway! Kyle can carry on a conversation like none other, and it really is the funniest thing. You can't understand him, but he is just so serious about it! One thing I did understand is him telling everyone they are in trouble and have to go to time out! Ha, guess he does understand us when we tell him he needs to go to time out.
Well - here are a bunch of photos of our fun trip!
We took the famous cable cars down to Fisherman's Wharf and hung out there most of the time. There was so much to do.
We had some really great food! We found out that Kyle loves calamari....yuck!

We took a Ferry Boat out to the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. It was such a perfect day to do this! The weather was so nice (and cold)!
Kyle loves the ocean animals, so we had to take him to Pier 39 to see the sea lions. And then it was off to the Aquarium! He got to touch sharks, sting rays, and starfish so he was one happy camper!
By the middle of the first day, Ken had to sit down with Kyle so he could nap a little! He was SO tired. It looks like Kyle is pouting, but he really is just sleeping!
Then by the end of the day, we went back to the hotel and Kyle had to sleep AGAIN! Minus a few little fits, Kyle was great and it was a fun day!

Looks like your trip was a lot of fun! I read your other post and am so glad things are moving along smoothly for you to go and get the girls! Keep us posted!
We also love San Francisco! We take the kids every time! There’s a great place called Zoom by the ball park that’s great fun for the kids and right next to it is a carousel and park. It looks like you had a great time! I am glad to hear that you dossier was submitted too! Your process is going fast! Get ready to travel!!! You might be one of those people who get something like three days to prepare! Hopefully not! Best of luck and thanks for the updates!!
I love SanFransico. How fun! I love that he fell asleep on Ken's lap there, what a cutie!
